Leslie (Lee) Kauffman, MBA joined SOHO HEALTH in April 2021 as Chief Contracting Officer to lead the SoNE HEALTH contracting team responsible for payor strategy and negotiations and alternative payment model development.
Prior to joining SoNE HEALTH, Lee served as the Interim Vice President of Research Operations (VPRO) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Health (DHH) in Lebanon, NH. In her role as VPRO, she led the organization’s research operations including the areas of research finance, nursing, quality and safety as well as human subjects’ protection. Before her tenure at DHH, Lee was Vice President of Contracting for Lahey Health, now Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). Her responsibilities at Lahey included leading the system contracting and integration efforts for Lahey Clinic, member hospitals and physicians as well Lahey’s clinically integrated network. Her experience includes leadership roles in managed care contracting, network operations, and clinical operations. Prior to BILH, she worked in finance and network operations management roles at Winchester Hospital -a member of BILH, Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Capgemini, and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Lee obtained her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare from Boston University upon completion of her undergraduate studies at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.
